On October 31st, 2023, at about 9:00, “Wanhua Chemical 200,000 tons/year Maleic Anhydride Plant Delivery Ceremony” was grandly held in the East Zone of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park!

Ms. Zhong Mei, General Manager of CN-KELAN. and representatives of the environmental protection exhaust gas treatment project of maleic anhydride project were invited to attend the ceremony.

Wanhua Chemical's world-class maleic anhydride production unit with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons is a major milestone in the development process of the Wanhua Group, and is also of great significance to CN-KELAN.

The environmental protection exhaust gas treatment project undertaken by our company meets the requirements of safety, environmental protection and energy saving, and the designed RTO device can not only treat the exhaust gas with high standard, but also the by-produced high-pressure steam can be used for production, which is in line with the concept of green development of Wanhua Chemical. On the day of the ceremony, Ms. Zhong Mei, General Manager of CN-KELAN, accompanied the person in charge of the maleic anhydride project of Wanhua Chemical Group to visit the plant.

Since our RTO equipment entered the plant in December 2022, we have insisted on putting safety, quality and schedule as the top priority, and we have strictly controlled to ensure the smooth progress of the project. Sincere thanks to Wanhua Chemical Group Corporation, Sinopec Group 10th Construction Company, Sinopec Group 5th Construction Company and other units who have given us great support and care, and also thanks to the construction workers who overcame many difficulties, dedicated themselves to their work, and worked diligently!
