On November 1-2, the 7th Sino-German Environment Forum was held in Taicang, Suzhou, co-hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the German Ministry of the Environment, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and the German Economic Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The theme of the Forum was “Promoting Green and Sustainable Development - Synergizing Responses to Environmental Pollution, Biodiversity Loss and Climate Change”.
